Purpose To provide guidance for travel expenses related to work of the  Local 

Scope Local Executive 

Policy Statement   The Local recognizes the importance of reimbursement of  mileage incurred for work of the local.  

Procedure 

Reimbursement 

The Local is not responsible for mileage incurred to and from home to Local office/ first Local work site. 

Mileage incurred from the Local office/ first Local work site to another site will be eligible to be tracked for reimbursement.  

Mileage incurred for work of the Local shall be tracked and submitted to the Local Treasurer and President for review.  

Upon accumulation of 50km in mileage incurred for Local work, it will be reimbursed at current SUN Provincial mileage rate.  

Parking fees incurred when doing work of the Local, are eligible for reimbursement. Proof of Payment is required.
